Jerusalem is ancient and intense, achingly beautiful and complicated.
I hope that everyone who sees these videos travels to the Holy City at least once in their lifetime.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19
"...you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings" Isaiah 58:12
Perhaps you're wondering about the picture of the church tower you see here. And why "Towerlady?" Maybe you heard something on the news in March 2000 about a tornado hitting downtown Fort Worth, Texas. A big landmark church was destroyed by the storm, but the focus of the newscasts was the "prayer tower"and the two women who were in there when the storm hit. I was one of those women.
Approximately one hundred people were in the church building that evening. Many miraculous testimonies came forth through the storm as we saw God raise up a standard against the onslaught of the enemy who sought to take our lives.
The picture was taken shortly after the storm, thus the rubble in the foreground. Watch for my upcoming bookwhich will include my amazing testimony along with those of other survivors. We give God all glory and praise for his power that brought us through! It is only by His saving hand that we are alive today.
